" This Grade II Listed period house is believed to date from the 1500's and has subsequently been extended. An inspection of this outstanding property is strongly recommended in order to appreciate its setting and the many notable features some of which include the following:

The delightful village edge yet rural setting adjoining fields with an attractive stream running along the boundary. The house has been extensively updated and improved whilst still retaining its many period features. A stunning superbly fitted and equipped kitchen/breakfast/family room with high vaulted ceiling with beams, large windows to one end with solid oak surrounds and doors to the garden. The kitchen area was fitted by Woodwork of Southborough and includes long granite work surfaces with a matching island unit, Rangemaster cooker in recess with extractor, integrated dishwasher, Whirlpool American style fridge/freezer, microwave, double butlers sink etc and numerous cupboards and drawers. There is an elegant well proportioned drawing room with deep inglenook fireplace, timbers and beams. The principal bedroom has an excellent en-suite shower room and the family bathroom has been exceptionally well re-fitted with a free standing roll top bath with ball and claw feet and hand shower set etc. The two delightful top floor bedrooms both have vaulted and beamed ceilings. Throughout the house there are numerous exposed timbers and beams, oak internal and cupboard doors, oak flooring in the dining room, most rooms with leaded light windows and impressive timbers to the staircase. Outside there is a detached double garage plus parking and turning for a number of cars.
