" This excellent detached family house was built in about 1965 and has subsequently been substantially extended. The house has a light and spacious interior which includes a large sitting room, almost 20ft sq, with an open fireplace and an outstanding range of Strachan fitted cupboards, book and display shelves. Similarly the library or office, which is nearly the same size, is well fitted with Strachan furniture and could equally be used as a gymnasium. The kitchen is well fitted, the dining room has two pairs of double doors, one to the library and one to the sitting room, there is a family room at the front and a further room, at present a bedroom, which could be used as either a study or bedroom 6. On the first floor there is an impressive long landing and an excellent combination of bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shower room, ideal for a family. All the main rooms have the advantage of being on the south side of the house and on the south side roof slope there is a bank of solar panels for supplementary water heating and electricity. "
