" An improved 3 bedroom Victorian terraced home that whispers period character at you as you wander through its rooms. From it's beautiful fireplaces to it's stunning bay windows.
A traditional layout is offered on the ground floor with a kitchen, sitting room and a dining room opening onto a covered patio. On the first floor there is a family bathroom to the rear and a second bedroom. The master is to the front, an L shaped eagle’s nest of a room, high above the lane, bay fronted and presented to the sun from first light. Higher still is the second floor, a bedroom (currently used as a study) built in to the attic with views across rooftops to the fields in the distance. Externally there are two garden areas, the first is the courtyard: covered in part - lending itself to all year round entertaining and offering further access via a walkway to the second area. This is a mature garden with a wide variety of trees, shrubs and has a large selection of home grown fruit and vegetable plants, a real oasis in the centre of the village.
The village itself is very traditional, bustling with activity but never crowded it boasts a variety of shops and amenities, a school, doctors and dentists, some excellent pubs and restaurants and a mainline station connecting you with both London and the South Coast. This is a home to be loved in a beautiful location, and we strongly urge to see the delights it has to offer for yourself. Sole agents.

What the Owner says:

We've always liked Victorian properties with high celings and large bay windows letting in lots of natural light. In the summer its a light and airy home but when we have the open fire lit in the sitting room during the winter its makes the whole house very cosy.
The covered patio at the back of the house is very sheltered which means you can sit outside when the weather is fine. The unusual arrangement of the garden means you soon meet the neighbours, it's also a good place to have barbeques and summer parties. We're only ten minutes walk from the train station and five minutes from both the high street and the fields surrounding the village.
