" Description    The present house dates from 1779, when Sheffield Park House was remodelled in Gothic style, for the first Lord Sheffield by the architect James Wyatt. Capability Brown was commissioned to landscape the grounds. (the majority of which, whilst visable from the Estate and this Apartment, are now the respocibility of the National Trust). The house was sensitively divided in the 1980's and there are now 12 apartments within the main House.
