" This detached family house is one of the fine, traditional Victorian villas to be found in Tunbridge Wells. The house has attractive architectural features such as the wide bay windows to ground and first floor, the overhanging roof with decorative corbels, stone quoins and sash windows. The interior is light and spacious and includes some particular features of note. In the entrance hall there is an attractive staircase leading to the galleried landing. The family room and drawing room are both elegant, well proportioned rooms with open fireplaces and bay windows, the drawing room having a door to the garden. The kitchen/breakfast room is a good size and is fitted with long work surfaces with cupboards and drawers under and windows to the side and rear. The study has an outlook to the front. On the first floor a feature of the bedrooms is that they all have fireplaces, the principal bedroom with a bay window to the front.

Situation
The house is in a very convenient location for easy access to the major shopping centre at the upper end of the town at The Royal Victoria Place shopping mall and Calverley Precinct. In the lower part of the town are the main line station, the High Street and famous Pantiles. In this area there are many individual shops, boutiques, restaurants and pubs as well as a large Morrisons supermarket. Tunbridge Wells is renowned for its educational facilities with separate grammar schools for girls and boys, independent schools and preparatory schools. Recreational amenities in the town include a cinema complex, theatres, sports and leisure centre and two golf courses etc.

Outside
To the front of the house there is a gravelled drive with parking for three or more cars and this is well screened by mature hedging. At the rear the garden is L shaped with an area of lawn by the house and a decking terrace, again all well screened by mature trees and hedges.
