" Description    A particularly delightful Grade II listed detached character cottage with 3 acres of garden/paddocks. The cottage is believed to date back some 400 years and which has been extended over the centuries. The property enjoys an outlook over its own gardens and grounds from many of the main rooms and there is extensive exposed beams throughout. The property has the benefit of an oil fired heating system and there is double glazing to the majority of the windows. The cottage is constructed of half tile hung and brick elevations and has a magnificent inglenook fireplace in the main living room and a recently installed hand made oak kitchen. The patio enjoys views over a lawn, mature shrubs, trees and two paddocks/fields. Outside also includes outbuilding/stable, double wooden garage and gated off road parking for several vehicles.

Outside    The property is approached via a five bar gate with a driveway which leads to a parking and turning area suitable for a number of vehicles. There is a detached double timber garage and pathway leads into the remainder of the garden with an area of lawn. The majority of the gardens are to the rear of the property and feature formal lawned areas, an orchard with apple, pears and damson, vegetable plot, there is also a detached timber construction double stable block.
