" Description    A spacious four bedroom detached property located in a semi rural lane on the outskirts if the picturesque village of Burwash. The living room is rear aspect with double doors leading to patio area and views over the garden. There is a separate dining room and a snug/office room. The kitchen has built in cupboards and space for a kitchen table with utility area. The ground floor includes a downstairs cloakroom, entrance hallway with stairs rising to first floor. The landing has a front aspect window and doors leading to all bedrooms. The rear aspect master bedroom has a range of fitted wardrobes and access to the four piece ensuite. A further three double bedrooms, one with fitted wardrobes, another currently being used as a study plus a family bathroom. The property is well maintained with double glazing and central heating.

Outside    The front has sweeping driveway and parking for several vehicles giving access to a detached double garage and gate to the rear. The front garden is laid to lawn and has an arrangement of shrubs and trees giving a good degree of privacy. The main feature of the property is a mature garden with an arrangement of trees and shrub boarders over looking spectacular countryside. To enjoy the views there is a large patio area. Bateman's, the National Trust home of Rudyard Kipling, is on the outskirts of the village. Heathfield is approximately 7 miles to the west and provides a further range of retail outlets including a choice of two supermarkets and there is also a mainline rail station at nearby Etchingham providing good commuter services to London on the Charing Cross line. The inland spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is approximately 15 miles to the north.
