" This home has been a wonderful place to live for the current owners, who have loved the peace and quiet and the relaxed way of life this village offers. Since moving down here they have made some improvements to their home, in between going for long walks and pub lunches that is, including re-roofing the property, a new bathroom suite and external treatment and painting of weatherboarding. On lazy weekends you can relax by the fireplace and enjoy the wood burning stove they have added, utilising the seasoned timber freshly collected from the new covered wood store erected outside. There is also a separate outhouse to the front, which has both water and power connected which could be suitable for a separate utility area or even a hobby room which the owners have found really useful. They’ve loved living here and have settled into the community easily, partly due to making friends at all the local events and societies that are available here. They are sure that the new owners of their home will love the area too. Indeed, with good transport connections - 5 stations within a 6 mile radius of Kilndown, a great school catchment area plus excellent road links for commuters, this home has a lot to offer.

What the Owner says:

This home has been a perfect getaway for us where we can leave computers and phones turned off and live a more relaxed life! We’ve loved the sense of community and people are welcoming and friendly, plus there is always lots going on with events at the local pub and village hall. The cottage is a wonderful retreat both in the summer, sitting in the garden with the marvellous views, a cool drink in hand, or in winter, curled up by the Inglenook fireplace. We’ve enjoyed local walks and often go up to Scotney Castle and the Bedgebury estate, indeed we’ve got fitter and now live a much healthier life since living here and look forward to staying in the area.
