DESCRIPTION:  Whitewell Barn is an attached by the first floor only former barn and stables believed to date dating back to circa 1825 and formerly part of the Angley Estate.  We understand the property was converted in circa 1936 presenting a mixture of brick and weatherborded elevations, set with predominately leaded light crittal framed windows beneath a pitched and half hipped tiled roof. The property now presents an ideal opportunity for updating and improvement.  Features include open fireplaces, beamed ceilings, parquet flooring and some quarry tiling.  The two ground floor reception rooms enjoy views out across to the gatehouse to the former Angley Park.  The four bedrooms are arranged over the first floor incorporating three double rooms and one single room. Bedroom one enjoys a double aspect with views out across fields and to Angley Park gatehouse. Accessed via an external open tread wooden staircase is the first floor annexe, Whitewell Loft which has a separate Council Tax banding comprising a sitting room, open fireplace, a double bedroom, galley kitchen and bathroom.  Outside the property retains the front drive sweeping into the courtyard with access to the integral double garage 5.74m x 3.85m per bay, fitted with a pair of double wooden doors.  The neatly maintained gardens run predominately to three sides, laid to lawn with cultivated kitchen garden area, trees, shrubs and plants.  A small stream bi-sects the garden with two bridges.  A wooden five bar gate provides access to a secondary rear driveway over which the neighbouring properties also have a right of way.  Established neatly clipped hedging and fencing form the boundaries.  Agent’s Note:  Neighbouring, Whitewell Cottage has an historic vehicular right of way through the archway which we understand from the seller has not been exercised for a number of years.

DIRECTIONS:   From the Wilsley roundabout situated on the edge of town follow the A262 in the direction of Goudhurst/Tunbridge Wells, proceed down the minor hill whereupon Whitewell Barn will be found on the right hand side immediately opposite the entrance to Whitewell Lane on the left and the former Angley Park Gatehouse.  Proceed on through the archway and bear round into the courtyard.
