" Searching for modern elegance with a country twist? Love to cook? Then this four bedroomed detached family home is just for you. Conjure up an image of strolling along rustling, leafy country lanes and listening to the trickle of the stream that runs opposite, walking the dog up the gravel drive, and arriving outside your front door. Push it open and you enter a bright hallway, illuminated by the double storey, barn effect window over the stairs. Enter the family sized lounge and you are met with a view of the secluded rear garden through patio doors, and the smell of the logs for the magnificent working open fire place. This follows into the dining room, with two large windows facing the garden. The aspiring "masterchef" in you will take over at the sight of the modern gleaming glossy kitchen that is just crying out to be filled with the wonderful aromas of local country produce being created into culinary works of art!Upstairs is just as good with bright modern bathrooms and good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a modern ensuite bathroom installed earlier this year. There is plenty of room outside in the garden for entertaining and relaxing, along with the garage for storage or parking. All in all, you really do get the best of both worlds, quaint, quiet country life and bright modern living all rolled into one.

What the Owner says:

The house for us had the size and the features that we wanted from a four bedroomed house, plenty of parking, and a quiet rural location away from the hustle and bustle, but still accessible, with a main line station into London less then 10 minutes drive away and excellent shopping facilities in nearby Paddock Wood. There is also a well regarded primary school in the parish, which made this a perfect choice for a family with school age children. We had the kitchen refitted to be both modern and functional and just love the colours that give it the wow factor.
