" Description    Brook Cottage is an attractive detached property in traditional style and with brick and part tiled elevations, providing flexible family living space and in established secluded gardens. Situated in a rural location on the outskirts of Tonbridge the house enjoys far reaching country views in peaceful surroundings. Established gardens surround the property which are boundaried on one side by a babbling brook, a haven for wildlife life and a feature of the property. The property provides accommodation over three floors to include entrance hall, sitting room, superb kitchen breakfast room, family room, study, four bedrooms two of which benefit from ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom. A detached double garage with ancilliary accommodation above to include two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom stands to one side of the property and is considered ideal as a teenage or guest suite.

Situation    Tonbridge is a thriving market town that has developed over the centuries. It boasts a fine example of a 'Motte and Bailey' Norman castle built in the 13th century, set on the banks of the river Medway with the castle grounds abutting Tonbridge Park offering covered/open air swimming pool, tennis courts, children's play areas, miniature railway, putting etc. Tonbridge town offers an excellent range of retail and leisure activities with many High Street stores and a full complement of banks and building societies, together with a selection of coffee shops, restaurants and local inns. The mainline station provides fast commuter links into London (Cannon Street/London Bridge/Charing Cross in approximately 40 minutes) with road links to the M20 & M25 motorways via the nearby A26 and A21. The area is renowned for excellent schooling within both private and state sectors.
