" STUNNING VIEWS from Curlew Cottage, a delightful semi-detached stone cottage set in the heart of the Corvedale with rural views over the Brown Clee and set within approximately 1.2 acres of grounds. The cottage offers scope to extend (STPP). Much Wenlock - 7.3 miles, Bridgnorth - 11 miles, Ludlow - 16.1 miles, Telford - 16.2 miles, Shrewsbury - 19.7 miles, Kidderminster - 24.4 miles. (All distances are approximate).

LOCATION Curlew Cottage is situated on the outskirts of the small picturesque village of Stanton Long within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), over looking the Brown Clee hill, as it runs west from Much Wenlock towards Craven Arms. Nearby Ditton Priors has a range of amenities, whilst a good selection of further facilities can be found in Much Wenlock, which has a small supermarket, butcher, bakery, bookshop, post office and a doctors surgery. There are also a number of individual shops, public houses and restaurants. Slightly further afield the historic town of Ludlow and the county towns of Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury provide a more extensive selection of amenities. School buses leave from Stanton Long. The property has suitable access for commuting to the major towns and cities of Kidderminster, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Major road networks can be found within motoring distance at the M54 and M6 giving access to the M5 and onto the M42, as well as the national motorway network. ACCOMODATION Approached via a gated front entrance, the winding gravel path leads to the front entrance door where a stable door gives access to the ENTRANCE LOBBY with eaves storage. Steps lead down to a further ENTRANCE LOBBY (Originally the front entrance) having a door out to the gardens with canopy porch, access to the CELLAR and a door leading into a cosy LOUNGE with a feature stove and open fire. Stairs lead to the TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS that each benefit with stunning views over the garden. The BATHROOM is situated on the ground floor and comprises a bath with electric shower over, pedestal wash hand basin, WC and splash back tiling. OUTSIDE The most significant and appealing feature of Curlew Cottage is the gardens and grounds surrounding, which offer breathtaking views and an extensive plot extending to just under 1.2 acres. The secluded garden enjoys a south easterly aspect with an ornamental hedge and lawn areas, inset pond, shaped borders with plants and bulbs, large productive vegetable plot with soft fruit bushes and a small orchard which is interspersed with seasonal bulbs. There are extensive outbuildings that comprise of a greenhouse, dog kennel and log store as well as a large carport with room for several cars. Further down the garden is a useful block built, timber clad workshop which could readily be converted to a home office.

There is ample space outside Curlew Cottage to extend (Subject to necessary planning permission). Planning permission has been granted for a detached double garage with store room above.
