Situation
Much Wenlock is a most attractive and interesting historic, small country town in the heart of the unspoilt Shropshire countryside. It has a wealth of period properties and architecture and there are very adequate modern everyday amenities including the William Brookes Secondary School and Sixth Form College which also incorporates a swimming pool and leisure centre. The World Heritage Site at Ironbridge is some 6 miles distant and Telford town centre with its wide range of amenities is some 9 miles to the north-east.  There is also easy access to Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth. 

The property
Is a beautiful period Grade II listed double fronted town property situated opposite the town church and offers spacious accommodation over three levels with numerous character features throughout including exposed floorboards, period style fireplaces, numerous exposed beams, panelled walls, timber doors and sash windows.  The ground floor front was formerly uses as a shop. The property enjoys lovely views towards the Holy Trinity Church at the front and rear views towards the landscaped garden and roof top views beyond.

On the first floor there is a galleried landing with access to the third reception room, house bathroom/wc, bedroom four and occasional bedroom five with en-suite bathroom/wc.  A beautiful timber door leads to an additional staircase which ascends to the second floor.

On the second floor there is a landing with exposed floorboards and access to bedrooms one, two and three and additional bathroom/wc.  The master bedroom is a particular feature having numerous exposed beams and lovely outlook towards the Holy Trininty Church.

Outside
The enclosed rear garden has shared pedestrian access leading to the front, hard standing area with steps leading to a paved patio, block paved footpath down one side leading to a detached brick and tiled workshop/store, small laid lawn area with a number of flower and shrub borders, raised flower bed and block paved area to one side. 

How to get there โ€“ from Ironbridge proceed along the Wharfage; continue straight over the mini island to the T junction and turn left onto the A4169 road to Much Wenlock โ€“ when entering Much Wenlock proceed along and turn left onto Shineton Street and continue onto Wilmore Street where the property is on the right hand side indicated by a Nick Tart for sale board.
