2 High Street, Ayton is a well presented three bedroomed period terraced house. The property, originally the sweet shop has generous reception space with two reception rooms, a downstairs lavatory, a bright kitchen and a lovely rear garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a shower room. The property is heated via a new gas central heating boiler and the house is double glazed throughout. The house is located in the centre of the popular village of Ayton which has a village store with post office service, a primary school, a pre-school nursery and a well-regarded pub. The village is close to the coastal town of Eyemouth with a wider range of local services and a High School. The A1 is close by and some seven miles from the area?s principal town, Berwick upon Tweed, which has a comprehensive range of retail and leisure facilities. In addition, Berwick upon Tweed has a mainline station that has regular services on the east coast mainline to Edinburgh, Newcastle and London, only 3 ? hours away. The eastern Scottish Borders is an area blessed with a beautiful coast line, hills and interesting history and offers an enviable quality of life.
