" This unique residence, within just a few hundred yards walk of the town centre, was built about 100 years ago and has been greatly improved in a sympathetic style to provide a large family house with an opportunity for several uses including bed and breakfast.

      Directions

      The house has a vehicular and pedestrian right of way in perpetuity from the council adopted road of Linney. Entering the town from the north side turn right immediately after the carpet shop and follow the road around into the straight of Linney. The driveway to The Orchard is then some 250 yards along on the left hand side. Alternatively, on foot from Nock Deighton's Bullring office turn left out of the door and left again through the yards of the Bull Inn. Ascend the steps onto St Lawrence's Churchyard continuing straight on to College Street. Turn right and then left into Upper Linney. At the end of the row of houses turn immediately right down the steps. After about 100 yards turn right immediately after the modern bungalows into the driveway past the timber house leading up to The Orchard.
