    • Spectacular southerly views towards surrounding hills.

There is so much to offer in this attractive modern dormer bungalow on the edge of one of the prettiest villages in the South Shropshire countryside.

The main residence is designed on the ground floor to be a conventional bungalow with three bedrooms, bathroom, two living room and a kitchen as well as a utility room.

On the first floor are two good size bedrooms as well as a small study, all ideal for family members when they visit.

It is served by propane gas central heating, and has double glazing. There is mains drainage and water supply.

In the surrounding gardens is the original wain house. A substantial two storey building about 10.75m x 6.6m which at present is ideal as a large garage and workshop area with a staircase leading to storage rooms/offices above. A planning application for conversion of the building to a two/three bedroom dwelling has we understand been submitted to the Local Authority.

Should planning permission be granted and the conversion take place the building would have to remain within the curtilage of the property as provision for an extended family or perhaps as a holiday let subject to further approval.

Architects plans are available for inspection at the offices of the selling agents.

The two buildings occupy a large triangular plot with the main garden to the west side. There are additional outbuildings including a large workshop/store and a greenhouse. There is plenty of car parking space.

The property is approached along a short shared vehicular track from the council adopted lane and sited well above the river Clun. It is within reasonably easy walking distance of the village centre where there is a local school, shops and other village facilities.

Other particularly attractive features of this property are the uninterrupted southerly views across the valley opposite to the surrounding hills above the village.

Clun is about 16 miles west of Ludlow.

      Directions

From Ludlow take the A49 Shrewsbury road north for about 8 miles to Craven Arms. At the Craven Arms Hotel turn left onto the B4368 Clun road for a further 8 miles. On entering the village turn left opposite the petrol filling station. Continue down this short Waterloo Lane and past the ford. There will be a sign pointing right up a very short track to The Wainhouse.
