" Owners Comments
We came here 15 years ago and started doing B&B which has proved very successful and is well supported by the village. ?Merrimead? is set well back from the road which is generally fairly quiet, in fact I?ve had guests staying here who say how lovely it is to be woken by birdsong rather than traffic noise.

The neighbours are very pleasant, quiet, unobtrusive but helpful should the need arise.
I enjoy gardening and this is a sunny and well stocked garden.
It is not overlooked at all and has an attractive old brick wall at the back which is covered with honeysuckle, Ivy and cotoneaster.

Alderholt is a very friendly village with lots of organisations and clubs from activities for Mums with babies to Skittles for Seniors. We have been very happy here but feel it is now time to move closer to family.

A four bedroom period style family house with well proportioned rooms, a spacious hallway, attractive leaded light windows with a bay window in the dining room with double doors onto the sitting room, which has a gas fire with marble surround & access to the conservatory with french doors onto the garden, the master & guest bedroom are both ensuite with fitted wardrobes & the pretty garden has a patio, vegetable patches, a greenhouse & mature shrubs & flowers, the front has gated access to off road parking with access onto a double garage, internal viewing highly recommended.
