" Situation

Bowmans Cottage is located in Ower, a short distance from Romsey town centre and all its amenities, as well as Broadlands House, Romsey Rapids swimming centre and Paultons Park. Ower is to the west of Romsey along the A3090, and is noted for its excellent access to all major roads including junction 2 of the M27 for Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and onwards to Winchester and London via the M3. The A36 provides easy access to Salisbury. Good local schools for all ages, both state and private, are within easy reach and the village is situated right on the doorstep of the New Forest, with both north and south parts of the forest close by.

Accommodation

Bowmans Cottage is a spacious, attractive, and very well presented four/five bedroom detached property within a 0.4 acre plot. This excellent family home offers versatile living accommodation including the large main house which extends to some 2800 sq feet, a most useful area of secondary accommodation which could easily be used as an annexe, and a detached double
garage. The principal rooms radiate from the spacious central hallway which also gives access to the study and a W.C. Stairs rise from the ground floor to the first floor landing where there are two large double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also a secondary conservatory leading from the kitchen which in turn provides access to the impressive games room. The games room is very large with a vaulted ceiling, a W.C. off, and staircase leading to
a super mezzanine floor above. All in all this is an excellent family space, separate from, but connected to, the main part of the accommodation. This space could also easily lend itself for use as annexe accommodation, with bedroom in the mezzanine level.
