β€œWe moved to Lockerley and into Dean Gate Farmhouse early in 1999, spending 12 very happy years here raising our daughters, one of whom was born here. It is difficult to move on and we loved every minute we have spent here, it is the most charming and lovely place any of us have lived; Spacious yet cosy, close to anything and everything we could need, great facilities and local amenities.β€œ

Introduction
Conveniently situated in the attractive village of Lockerley, with its strong community spirit, this pretty home enjoys stunning interiors with a blend of period features, vaulted reception rooms, chic bathroom suites and light living space. Although wonderfully quaint, the accommodation is surprisingly substantial extending to 2000 square feet and offering potential for dual occupancy and is supplemented by outbuildings and generous parking.

A stable door leads into the entrance lobby which separates the old house from the new, and offers utility space comprising generous storage cupboards, plumbing and space for appliances and a butler sink. Traditional slatted latch doors are evident throughout and there is access to a family room enjoying exposed beams and a stable door to the entertainment terrace. A cosy snug with feature original open fireplace leads from the family room in an open plan styling and accesses the lobby to the front door. The sitting room is generous in size, offering beautiful period features centred upon the stunning open fire place with raised hearth and open grate. Dual in aspect with exposed beams, this elegant room is a reminder of this house’s origins. The inner hall accesses the bathroom, fitted in a traditional style with roll top claw foot bath, low level WC, pedestal wash hand basin and shower cubicle. There is a hobby room / office with lighting and double doors, an impressive arctic hut with fire pit and large storage shed. Adjacent to the house is the large courtyard terrace with brick retaining edging offering an impressive entertaining venue.
