" Built in circa 1930 and set in the village of Warnford in the highly requested Meon Valley, this three bedroom cottage is built on the site of an old cheese factory. The cottage was originally an office to serve the factory and was only used for four years until it was converted into the home we find today. The home sits on a corner plot circa 1/3 acre and has far reaching countryside views. Extensive gardens to the front and rear of the property and off road parking for multiple cars make this a home to be viewed at the earliest opportunity.
Warnford is a delightful small village with evidence of settlement dating back to the Saxon Age. Now scattered with watercress beds it falls within the City of Winchester district of Hampshire. The village lies on the A32 in the valley of the River Meon between West Meon and Exton. IT has a 12th century church and a pub, the George and falcon. There is a bus service which takes you to the larger Market towns of Bishops Waltham and Petersfield where you can find an array of both day to day and boutique shops, restaurants, post office, banks, schools and links to the M27,M3 and A3 respectively. You will also find rail links to London. The village was by-passed by the former Meon Valley Railway, now a footpath and cycleway which rand down the east of the valley and now provides an ideal spot for walking.
