" An imposing Arts and Craft residence set in a one and a third acre plot, providing almost 4000 sq ft of accommodation arranged as seven bedrooms, four bathrooms and two reception rooms over three floors. A perfect family home or second residence for the discerning purchaser.

Curdridge is an extremely popular village that offers a church, public house, primary school and main bus routes. The property is excellently located for access to motorways, airports and mainline railway stations with Botley train station only a mile and a half away.

Dating back to the 1890n++s, this unique home is the main portion of a striking Victorian residence which maintains many of its original features such as sash windows, high ceilings, recess shutters, picture rails, fireplaces and cornicing which have been beautifully and sympathetically restored by the current owners to offer a light and elegant living space which would suit both growing families and professional couples alike.

The principle reception rooms all centre off an imposing reception hall and include a fabulous live in style kitchen/breakfast room with feature wood burner and integrated appliances along with a double aspect drawing room and dining/family room both of which benefit from parquet flooring, large bay windows over looking the gardens and doors out onto a delightful south facing veranda. There is also a utility room, cloakroom and cellar.

Arranged over two floors and accessed via an original staircase and balustrading, the first floor provides four of the seven bedrooms including a spacious double aspect master bedroom, a beautifully presented guest suite/bedroom two with ensuite shower room and a further two bedrooms of good proportions along with the family bathroom which is attractively fitted with contemporary sanitary ware including a freestanding bath and contrasting ceramics. On the second floor a further three double bedrooms can be found, one with a stylish en-suite as well as a separate WC which serves this floor. There is also a separate shower room with WC.

Set well back from the road and approached via a sweeping gravel driveway, this imposing property is well positioned within its mature and secluded plot. Extensive lawned areas provide a fabulous space for children to explore, run around and play and a well positioned south facing terrace provides the ideal space for al fresco dining/entertaining.
