" Chattis Hill is a select development of just nine houses and two apartments created from the well-known Hampshire thoroughbred racehorse training stables. The original building dates from 1897 and was built by the trainer and jockey, Tom Cannon, who was the great grandfather of Lester Piggot. Set in the south east corner of the courtyard, this five bedroom residence offers beautifully appointed living accommodation approaching 2,500 sq ft arranged over two floors. Principle rooms to the ground floor include a 21' double aspect sitting room with Jetmaster open fireplace, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room comprising units fitted by Rivendell of Winchester and an AGA cooker. Engineered wood floors have been fitted throughout the entrance hall, sitting room and dining room, with tiled flooring in the Kitchen/breakfast room and conservatory extension.

Situation
Chattis Hill is set between the Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury. The nearby village of Stockbridge (2 miles) offers a variety of local shops, galleries and independent boutiques. In addition there is a range of restaurants, public houses and a variety of amenities including churches, dentist surgery, doctor's surgery, primary and secondary schools. There are excellent opportunities within the area for walking, riding and fishing on the renowned River Test. The M3 motorway network is 15 miles to the east linking to London and the south coast and there are first class rail communications to London from Winchester (approx. one hour).
