" A unique opportunity to acquire this exceptional first & second floor duplex apartment forming a significant part of this grade II listed former manor house set in gardens and grounds in excess of an acre adjacent to the church, situated on the south side of the village.

The property was converted in 1982 and comprises four individual apartments, two ground and first floor duplex apartments and two second floor flats, although both of these are in single ownership. The running of the building is managed by the residents, who all own equal shares of the freehold. There are substantial gardens and grounds that are maintained by a gardener (within the service charge) although both the duplex apartments have their own individual gardens as well.

No. 1 has accommodation arranged over the ground and first floors offering glorious proportions with high ceilings, large windows and fine period detailing.

There is a very large sitting room with splendid fireplace and fitted wood burning stove, dining room or large study, cloakroom, and large kitchen/breakfast room with space for farmhouse kitchen table and large sash window with views over the rear garden. The first floor offers three large bedrooms a smart bathroom with separate shower cubicle and utility room. There is electric heating.

Overall the setting of The Manor has been preserved, retaining the feeling of space and grandeur of the original grounds. No.1 enjoys gardens running directly from the rear of the house offering ample space to entertain. There are no visual divides and the residents enjoy the open, natural feel to the original setting. We believe that there have been occasions where summer parties have been held accommodating marquees etc. It is a glorious and quite exceptional setting which has to be viewed to be fully appreciated.

To the front there is a single garage, good parking and a large store room for the use of residents. It comfortably accommodates summer garden furniture etc.

The property is located within a three minute walk of the village centre with its tremendous array of amenities immediately at hand including doctors & dental surgeries, chemist, supermarket, bank, numerous sports clubs and local schools. Pewsey also has its own railway station with express trains running directly into London Paddington (70 mins), and the west country. Pewsey is also well placed with excellent road links to the A303/M3 & M4, and within a 15/20 minute drive of the popular market towns of Marlborough and Devizes. "
