" Set in the Vale of Pewsey, down a no through road in generous gardens with beautiful views stands this 3/4 bedroom semi detached cottage. The property has been extended by the current owners to create a comfortable family cottage with a good balance of accommodation and scope to extend further still. A most welcoming summer room provides an ideal spot to enjoy the vista and bi-folding doors help to bring the outside in. This is a versatile light and airy space which leads into a hallway off which lie all the reception rooms and the exposed wooden staircase to the first floor. The sitting room is dual aspect with a wood burning stove. There is a useful study which works well as a fourth bedroom and a good size family bathroom and off the back of the cottage is a kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is fitted with a range of cupboards and offers ample space for dining/entertaining and benefits from views to the rear over fields and has a door to the rear garden.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of which have ornate fireplaces and all enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.

The Pewsey Vale village of Alton Priors, lies on the edge of downland in pretty countryside with far reaching views. Throughout the area there are attractive villages, historic houses and a variety of wildlife to enjoy together with possibilities for riding, walking, cycling or even hang-gliding over the unspoilt downland. The village is approximately 3.5 miles from Pewsey and approximately 8 miles from the historic market towns of Marlborough and Devizes. In the local area there is a variety of good private and state schools for all ages. Good road communications provide ready access to Swindon and Salisbury and there is a main line railway to London Paddington in Pewsey.

Outside
Set admist fine Wiltshire countryside, at the end of the village, this twentieth century house enjoys a good sized garden which is mainly laid to lawn and wraps around the cottage. Also within the grounds there is a storage container and ample parking.
