" 5 Martinsell Cottages dates from the 1920's and is a Grade ll listed building, designed as estate cottages to Oare House by Sir Bertram Clough William-Ellis of Portmerion fame. The cottage has a comfortable internal atmosphere and benefits from a generous garden, views over open countryside and off street parking. The light and airy sitting room has the benefit of a brick fireplace fitted with a wood burning stove and wooden flooring. The double aspect kitchen/dining room having quarry tiled floors, is well fitted with a range of floor and wall units. There is also a cloakroom and a well proportioned conservatory opening to the garden. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a shower room.

Situation
Oare is a popular and thriving village set between Marlborough and Pewsey and offers a local pub, church and village hall and excellent pre-school and primary education. More extensive facilities can be found in Pewsey (2 miles) and Marlborough (5 miles) with a wide range of cultural, education and leisure facilities. Trains to London Paddington are from Pewsey (40 minutes) and motorway access to the north to the M4 and to the south the A303/M3. The Kennet and Avon canal runs close by and there is excellent walking, cycling and horse riding within the area.
