" This charming well presented four bedroom village house offers plenty of bright and airy accommodation, with parking, an attractive garden with views to the River Kennet and surrounding countryside and a generous detached home office/workshop/garden. The well appointed kitchen has a good range of fitted cupboards, with integrated double oven, gas hob and extractor, dishwasher and room for a freestanding fridge/freezer, lovely recessed feature glass shelving and tiled floors throughout. The adjoining dining room is beautifully decorated with French doors to the garden plus access to the utility room, with further storage and space for washing machine and dryer. The welcoming L-shaped sitting room has an elegant wooden fire surround over the working fire, large storage cupboard, shelving with views and door to the south facing garden. There is also a guest cloakroom off the pretty entrance lobby. Upstairs there are four bedrooms off the landing, including a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, two bedrooms both having fabulous cast iron feature fireplaces and the fourth, with an original built in storage cupboard. Situation
Mildenhall is a small village in the Kennet Valley, with a church, pub and village hall, the historic market town of Marlborough lies about 1? miles to the west and provides an extensive range of shopping facilities, market, public library and various pubs and restaurants. The town is well served with excellent schools, and benefits from a sports centre. Mildenhall is well located for access to the M4 (junction 15 about 10 miles) and the commercial centre of Swindon is about 12 miles, from which there is a regular rail service to London Paddington and the South West. There are additional stations in Pewsey (about 8.5 miles) and Great Bedwyn (about 6 miles).The surrounding countryside offers good footpath links between the village and the water meadows of the River Kennet and to Marlborough.
