" Handily located between Banstead Village and its station, is this well presented ground floor apartment which has been extensively modernised by the current owners. With plenty of parking, well maintained communal gardens and security entry system, this flat ticks a lot of boxes.
One of the main reasons many people move to the Banstead Village area, besides the friendly neighbourhood and handy High Street, is to be within the catchment area for the infant and junior schools which have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. This property is only a short walk from these schools and so would suit first time buyers looking to start a family in a neighbourhood renowned for its first class education.
Over the last few years the property has had a new central heating system, oak finish laminate flooring laid in the hall and lounge, and a fully fitted kitchen installed. With the eye-catching ceramic tiled splash backs, granite effect work surfaces and stainless steel finished cooker, this is a very well designed and looked- after domain.
From the lounge there is a pleasant outlook onto the south-facing communal gardens rather than another building. This creates a feeling of privacy which is sometimes lacking in apartment blocks.

What the Owner says:

We were first drawn to the area because of its good reputation as a friendly village to bring up young children.
I walk my young boy to nursery most days and there are always lots of other mothers to meet and have coffee with.
I hardly need to drive now unless absolutely necessary as almost everything I need is available in the High Street. If we need to go further afield to Sutton, Croydon or Reigate then it is easier to take the bus rather than fight the town centre traffic and parking.
We have got to know a lot of our neighbours and often join them for barbecues in the gardens when the weather allows and will miss the friends that we have made here.
