" Just one look at this superb home in this exceptional, enviable location in South Wallington & you will be hooked! Just as the current owner was when he moved here well over 30 years ago. It's easy to see what he fell in love with & totally understandable why he stayed here so long. Let's take a closer look at just what is on offer. Downstairs, there is a small but perfectly suitable kitchen which offers just the right amount of work to be done to put your own stamp on it. The lounge/diner is a nice size with door onto the garden. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms & a shower room. One thing you will notice with the pretty garden is how easy it is to maintain, leaving you with the peace of mind that you can enjoy all the benefits of relaxing & soaking up the sun without the hassle of hours of work. Another bonus is the garage en bloc which comes with the property, providing the perfect place for storage or housing your car! Now you may have heard that South Wallington is a very popular area & this is most certainly true. This is mainly due to the truly outstanding schools locally which most people move to Wallington for. I have lived here for 36 years - hopefully that gives you some idea of how happy I have been to have stayed so long. The location is superb. In under 10 minutes, I can be at the train station & in central London in half an hour! It has also been handy being a short stroll from the excellent amenities Wallington has to offer, including health centre, library and shops - making it an effortless trip if I ever run out of anything! There are some brilliant parks nearby. Since living here I have had double glazing fitted as well as new fascias, soffets & guttering and even a new front door. All of which have really made a difference to the appearance of the house & has improved how easy it is to maintain.
