Chapel Farm is situated in a wonderful elevated position with views over the Peak District National Park. It lies within the hamlet of Heathcote; a rural hamlet lying 1 mile to the east of the popular village of Hartington. Hartington offers many local facilities including a number of shops, cafรฉ/tea room, public house and primary school. Further facilities are available in the spa town of Buxton, which lies approximately 9.50 miles to the north or the market town of Ashbourne which lies some 8.80 miles to the south. For those looking to commute, Heathcote is accessible to Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Manchester.
