Vendors Comments Formed from two cottages, which gives the house its spacious dimensions and unique feel, the house was originally a carpenters house and the kitchen was used as the workshop and wood store and the finished goods stored in the garden room.
Whilst living here we have enjoyed the privilege of living in a quiet cul de sac with supportive neighbours; on the edge of the National Park we have enjoyed walks on all its trails and hills and in the large park conveniently opposite. At the same time we have been able to travel by train to Manchester City Centre in 40 minutes for work and the variety of culture and entertainment it has to offer. So we have had the best of both worlds, rural and city.
It has taken time to find a home with as much space, versatility and individuality as this property but after almost 14 years we are ready to move on to an even more rural location.
We have enjoyed, as have our friends and family, many a social occasion here, as the house lends itself to gatherings. Equally we have enjoyed quiet evenings alone in the still cosiness of the front lounge with the fire burning. We hope the next owners enjoy the house as much as we have.
