Enjoying an elevated position which demands spectacular views over the Cheshire Plain, a stone built cottage of considerable charm and character offering beautifully balanced accommodation throughout. The original part of the cottage is thought to have originated in the 1700's and has been immaculately refurbished and slightly re-modelled by past and present owners. At ground floor level a stable door leads into the open plan dining/kitchen area with original Kerridge stone flooring and feature cast iron log burner set within the stone wall between dining area and the adjoining lounge. The lounge being originally one room is now split into a lounge at the front and a versatile second reception area to the rear of the property with double doors leading out to the patio and terraced gardens. At first floor level is a quite stunning and unique master bedroom with open fireplace, exposed stone and beams and a wonderful vaulted ceiling with drop-down stairs which leads up to a mezzanine level with electronically controlled velux window. There are two further double bedrooms and a completely re-fitted luxury bathroom.
