" Owles Hall is a magnificent castellated redbrick house approached from a single track driveway to a long treelined avenue leading to one of East Hertfordshiren++s finest Country Houses.
The house benefits from a wonderful reception hall with an 18 foot ceiling, large mullion windows and palladium style columns. The room also lends itself perfectly as a large dining hall for more formal occasions. All principal reception rooms are accessed from the marble floored central hall. The reception rooms are well proportioned and are ideal for entertaining. Of particular note is the beautiful drawing room with excellent ceiling heights, oak parquet floors and ornate cornicing with French doors leading out onto the side terrace. The recently refurbished spacious kitchen/ breakfast room is fitted with high specification appliances and has a wonderful traditional feel.

The bedroom layout is well arranged and all rooms benefit from excellent ceiling heights. The master bedroom is a large suite situated at the north east corner of the house, with 4 further family/ guest rooms leading from the central landing that runs the length of the house. West facing
rooms benefit from far reaching views across the formal gardens. There are 2 further bedrooms within the private annexe that sits adjacent to the house. The house further benefits from a study and a gymnasium that the present owners have installed.

The formal gardens and grounds at Owles Hall are predominantly to the east side of the house and run extensively over approximately 6.5 acres which includes a paddock and 0.6 acres of land to the rear of the property. The gardens are both mature and formal with an abundance of flora, fauna and mature trees. There are various sitting areas throughout the grounds and a fantastic raised side terrace that runs the length of the eastern fan++ade. The terrace is ideal for summer entertaining and enjoys a wonderful view over the garden, to a summer house at the head of the lawn. The garden has a number of gravel paths that lead from one part of the garden to
another, also leading to the impressive castellated frontage and former stables at the rear. There is garaging with up and over doors for 2 cars. There are two further timber built Stables currently used as storage with central open store. Beyond this is a decent sized dog run.Directions
