" Elms Farm is situated in the heart of the north Hertfordshire village of Barkway. Conventionally constructed in brickwork with a pitched and tiled roof, the house offers excellent accommodation in excess of 2700 sq ft over three floors, with well-proportioned rooms and high ceilings. On the ground floor there are three reception rooms, a study, kitchen/breakfast room with a four oven Aga and a utility room. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, an en suite and bathroom and on the second floor, two further bedrooms and bathroom.

Outside, to the front there is a semi circular driveway which provides parking and a well established garden with shrub and flower borders. The rear garden is approximately 100ft max by 115ft and has a terrace, lawns, shrubs and trees. The house has been well maintained, but there is now scope for modernisation and re-decoration.Directions

When entering Barkway from the south on the B1368 head through Braughing, Hay Street and Hare Street and follow the road into Barkway. The property will be found on the right hand side, beyond Burrs Lane and just before a left turn to Church Lane and the church. "
