The Property - Forming part of 'Prospect Terrace' built in 1858, this pleasant Victorian town cottage has been well modernised, whilst retaining much of its original character. The living room and two bedrooms are complemented by the modern kitchen and bathroom. This property also comes with a boarded loft and integrated loft ladder for easy access. Parking bays are available at the front of the house. 

 The cottage enjoys an open aspect overlooking Clothall Common and benefits from uPVC double-glazed windows and gas fired central heating.

 The Outside - The cottage sits behind an open-plan front garden laid to lawn with a flower border.

A right-of-way leads around the end of the terrace to the very good size south-west facing rear garden, which is some 47'6" in depth and laid to lawn with paved patio/court yard and at the top of the garden.

The Location - The cottage is conveniently situated on the eastern side of the town, within a third of a mile from the High Street and only half a mile from the mainline train station. Baldock is on the Cambridge to London Kings Cross mainline with the fastest journey times being just 39 minutes to Kings Cross and 23 minutes to Cambridge. The town stands just off the A505 with Junction 9 on the A1(M) (southbound) being only 2.3 miles away and Junction 10 (northbound) even closer at 2.2 miles.

 Baldock is an attractive market town in north Hertfordshire, founded by the Knights Templar in the 1140s. Today the town centre boasts many imposing period buildings and the broad High Street is a particularly notable feature. The town provides excellent shopping, schools, pubs and restaurants, with the adjoining towns of Letchworth Garden City and Hitchin providing an even wider range of facilities.
