This five bedroom, extended semi-detached family home requires full modernisation throughout. Its a rare opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on it and add value. The current owners have had the property in the family for over 50 years and extended the home as their family has grown. There is still however lots of opportunity to update and develop further (Subject to building regs)

Inside the property, there is a good sized front room which has a lovely curved bay window. This room is currently used for dining but could easily be the lounge. To the rear of the property there is a second reception room that opens out to the conservatory. The kitchen overlooks the rear garden and is next to the second reception room meaning it creates the opportunity to adapt into a kitchendiner. An enclosed passageway that runs from the front to the back of the house divides the house and over sized garage. The garage has an electric door to the front and within a room to the rear is a toilet. To the end of the passageway and attached to the garage is a large 19ft workshop. This layout leads to an opportunity to convert into an annexe or extra living space ( Subject to building regs).

Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, one single bedroom and a family shower room. Two of the double bedrooms have built in wardrobes.

The roof has been replaced within recent years and has solar panels that provide electricity energy savings. There is also a solar panel to the side of the property that contributes to savings on the water bill.

As the property is located on a lane that runs along the side the main road there is enough parking on the bloc paved driveway for two cars directly in front of the garage and three spaces in the plot of land on the other side of the lane. To the rear of the property there is a good sized garden, with patio areas, a path, lawn, well established floral and shrubs , a shed and a large water featurepond.

The market town of Shefford has everything you need for day-to-day living including a Morrisons supermarket, library, post office, good range of independent shops and businesses, pubs, restaurants, cafes, excellent schools and plenty of parks, open spaces and riverside walks. Arlesey mainline railway station is only a short drive away and the road links are superb with both the A1 and M1 being easily accessible.
