" 3 Hunts Barn was originally a Victorian brick barn of some stature which was converted by highly regarded local builders, The Croft Group. Glazed doors lead into the hall and in turn into the magnificent main hall which measures 24n++3 x 18n++9 and is vaulted to the ceiling with light flooding in and a wide staircase to the first floor. There are many other notable rooms including a well proportioned drawing room with a fireplace and wood burning stove, a very large kitchen/breakfast room with solid oak units, granite work surfaces, a four oven Aga and refrigerated pantry and in addition, a good sized utility room. There are five good sized bedrooms, all with en suites.

The property is approached along a pleasant country lane to a gravelled parking area which leads to a garage and storage room. A secure gated access leads to a covered area and to the enclosed front garden which has a pathway and lavender borders. To the rear there is a larger partially walled garden with lawns, a terrace and well stocked shrub and herbaceous borders. At 70ft the garden is not overly large, but has considerable interest and privacy.Directions

From Bishops Stortford follow the B1004 towards Much Hadham and opposite Hadham Golf Club turn left and follow the road through Green Tye and in open countryside, just before you reach Perry Green, you will see the brick barn on the left hand side and some metal railings. Proceed about 50m beyond and proceed down a gravel driveway on the left, park close to the wall on the left. You will see a row of garages and the properties are then numbered. "
