" A most delightful home, with a wealth of character and two extensions, this really will capture your attention.Set in the village of Charlwood with its range of boutique shops and public houses. Built in 1906 the house offers a wealth of character including fireplaces in the bedrooms. Upon entering you are greeted with a lovely tunnel of light through the house and conservatory and into the garden. The front room with its own fireplace has had several uses over the years, playroom, dining room and family room. Continue through the hallway, into the kitchen/breakfast room – which anyone would be proud of, a fantastic size with some integral appliances and certainly room for a breakfast table to one side, although the conservatory is currently being used as the dining room. The lounge is so bright and airy, yet with warm colours flowing through to the conservatory with under floor heating, why not use it all year round. Three double bedrooms upstairs two with very pleasant views of the garden, with the master benefiting from a cloakroom off the room. Is a large maintained garden on your wish list – then it has just been ticked. South facing with a patio area perfect if you enjoy the Al fresco side of dining, with a stream and waterfall arrangement adding to the peace and tranquillity of the garden. At the time of instruction the Gatwick bus will pick up and drop you at Gatwick airport for £1.00. Furthermore the A217, M23 and M25 are all reachable.

We adore the house. Everything about it is what we want up North. Having enjoyed 10 fabulous years here we have got to know most of the neighbours and a lot of people in the village, it is such a sense of community here. We both used to work at the airport and have occasionally taken advantage of the bus service. When I fell pregnant, we decided to extend to give us that extra room, as we did not want to move away, it is so peaceful here.
