" Ranmore Manor can be found within the heart of Ranmore Common - a particularly favoured area of the Surrey Hills, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Understood to have been built by Admiral Maxse circa 1887, this Victorian mansion has had various uses, including as a base for Canadian troops prior to the Normandy landings on D-Day. The building was subsequently converted into unique and individual apartments circa 2000. Enjoying its own private covered entrance walkway with the original quarry tiled floor, brick steps lead to the sizeable front door and opening to an entrance vestibule, with a glazed door into the hall. Immediately upon entering you appreciate the immense charm with high corniced ceilings and character features throughout. The immaculate presentation and attention to detail complements the practical layout, with defined living and bedroom areas making this a unique home ideal for the modern lifestyle. The sitting room enjoys a wonderful outlook through French doors which open onto a substantial decked terrace with wrought iron railings and a superb view over adjacent pasture land and countryside. The kitchen/dining room has plenty of space for a dining suite and additional informal seating, with the dining area featuring a cast iron fireplace. The kitchen is fitted with a range of matt effect cream units with complementing beech block preparation surfaces and includes a Butler style sink and various fitted appliances. The wood effect floor is a practical surface underfoot and flows throughout the room. Bedroom 1 is an elegant room of substantial proportion and features an en-suite shower room, whilst the 2 further bedrooms are both doubles, serviced by the immaculate family bathroom. If storage space is high on your priority list, you will not be disappointed with the amount of cupboards this home possesses, including a useful utility cupboard with space for appliances. A separate WC completes the accommodation.
