" Town centre houses are in very short supply, until now!
Situated in Jubilee Terrace which was built in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
This spacious three storey house is only a short walk away from all the amenities of the town together with the mainline train station leading to London Waterloo/Victoria.
The property has been occupied by the present owner since the 1970's and has been constantly improved throughout this period to include a full loft conversion, a re-fitted kitchen, addition of solar panels providing energy efficient hot water and continual establishment of the private rear garden.
This house combines many character features including sash windows and stripped floors, which is immediately noticeable as you walk through the front door into the good sized entrance hall. There is a sitting room and dining room which are both spacious and airy living areas together with a re-fitted kitchen which was upgraded in 2010.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
In 1999 planning permission was obtained for a loft conversion to provide a large bedroom three.

What the Owner says:

Having lived in this property for 38 years I cannot overemphasise the desirability of it's location. Everything one needs is within easy walking distance. Jubilee Terrace is a quiet and friendly road, borne out by the very successful Royal Wedding Street Party we had last April.
As for the property itself, although modernised to a degree, it still has some Victorian charm, a very manageable garden and a beautiful loft conversion with wonderful views of Box Hill and Ranmore Common.
The house benefits from morning sun at the front and afternoon and evening sun at the back. On a clear sunny day the solar evacuated tubes on the rear roof can provide enough hot water for all one's needs.
