" Oak flooring in a modern house might sound strange but it looks fantastic. The owners had it fitted recently, not just for its good looks, but for its durability and ease of maintenance. The flooring's been fitted in the entrance hall with a built-in mat well and carried through to the lounge, dining room and kitchen.A conservatory has been added to the back of the house off the dining room, allowing you to take full advantage of admiring the garden all year round, and the kitchen has been refitted with attractive modern units and plenty of space for a breakfast bar. Unusually all 4 bedrooms are of a decent size with the main bedroom having an en-suite and the main bathroom having been recently redesigned and refitted. There is a double width driveway plus an integral double garage. You get the usual benefits expected from a house of this age, which is about 11 years old, such as gas central heating and sealed unit double glazing. The owners have made a good choice in decor which compliments the modern era.

What the Owner says:

Ashington provides us with everything we need. It’s a lovely rural village with excellent schooling and with access points to major towns and cities on the doorstep. The layout and proportion of the rooms in this house has worked very well for our family needs, particularly the equal sized bedrooms. We like the non-estate feel of living on a friendly street, and being able to look out at greenery from the back of the house.
