The house occupies an exclusive location within this popular village on the edge of Ashdown Forest and is ideal for the London commuter. The park-like gardens extend to just over an acre and have many specimen trees and a wide number of flowering shrubs and large patio, ideal for family entertaining.Location: The property occupies a very pleasant semi-rural setting on the edge of the favoured village of Chelwood Gate, close to Ashdown Forest with over 6,000 acres of heath and woodland. There is a public house in the village and a bus service with frequent services to Haywards Heath and East Grinstead with the bus stop close to the house. The nearby villages of Horsted Keynes, Nutley and Danehill provide local facilities and primary education. The vibrant village of Forest Row is to the north and offers an excellent and diverse range of shops, restaurants, public houses and two mini supermarkets. The location allows for convenient road access to a number of major towns including East Grinstead, Lewes, Tunbridge Wells and Haywards Heath or, for the commuter, the main line station at Haywards Heath is the most convenient, with frequent services to London.
