" This is a larger than it looks, fully detached home that is ready to move into, yet has lots of scope to enhance and highlight the character features that make it a Grade II listed property. Even though it is located on Andrews Hill the road is only partially visible because this house sits behind other gardens and is accessed via a private gated driveway at the side of a private row of character cottages. Infact the back garden is a blank canvas and starts approximately 100' away from the road! There is also a detached double garage and log store/shed which may have scope subject to the necessary consents for change or development. Getting back inside the house, things to note include the convenience of a modernised oil heating system along with en-suite and cottage style kitchen with a combination of period features including ceiling and wall beams, inglenook fireplace with bread oven and facility to smoke food in the old fashioned way (up the chimney), cottage style windows and doors. With "no chain" it is a "must have property" to view.

What the Owner says:

We have had so much enjoyment at this house which has been in our family for over 30 years. Over the years because of the size and layout the house has catered for many events where we have had all the fun of family gatherings, along with contrasting cosy evenings by the fire, having come in from the cold during the winter months. This is a fabulous place to live all year round and especially at Christmas. We would love to pass it on to another family for the next 30 years.
