" A superb combination of style, character and convenience of modern living. The home was lovingly created out of a former farm building that lay unused for some years before it's conversion at the turn of the new millennium. Renovation of the building commenced with the restructuring of the vaulted ceiling with it's exposed beams complimented by the inclusion of a French styled multi fuel fireplace, which makes a very striking visual feature in the living room. A range of windows and doors allow the room to be opened up to a large patio and the rear garden when the weather permits, making a sizeable private, yet open space to entertain. From the outside one might think this is smaller than it is, it's like a tardis. But consider that there are 3 double bedrooms each with good sized ensuite bathrooms, an entrance hall, inner hall/study and inkeeping kitchen/breakfast room with flagstone styled flooring. Under floor heating was another deliberate choice in order to free up the rooms for the appropriate furniture, without the sight of radiators. There is also plenty of boarded loft space. The building is set away from the road with ample gravel parking area and office in-between the house and the road. There is also a 800 sq ft barn, ideal for storage which subject to planning represents space that could be used for a more formal garage/storage unit. The enclosed plot is accessed via electric gates which offer controlled access for peace of mind.

What the Owner says:

When we bought this property it was a project that we knew we could bring back to life. We could see the opportunity to create a home full of character in a stylish building. With our busy life styles it was essential to create a low maintenance home. We therefore planned particular features like en-suites for each bedroom, a classic styled kitchen and incorporated some extra individual features such as the French styled fireplace in the lounge. Outdoors was also very important, we have created a garden full of plants and features, but it has it's own irrigation system, so it waters itself, which means we save hours in the summer and can sit admiring it instead.
