It would probably be perfect if it was situated on a private road. Well it is!!As you approach the remote control gates that lead to the circular driveway, the chocolate box appeal will bring a smile to your face. Maybe you'll want to wander around the grounds of 0.594 acres and, on a hot summer's day, take a dip in the heated swimming pool while your children explore the gardens. Once inside, the hallway, laid with Merbau Manila flooring, is like a room of its own and displays the character beams common throughout. For entertaining, the drawing room is bright, with windows on three sides and a clever bar area which opens out to the dining room - perfect for dinner parties.Relax in the dining room with the inglenook fireplace or open the doors and bring the outside in. With two kitchens, three bedrooms, bathroom and cloakroom downstairs, there's even annex potential and with both bedrooms upstairs having en-suites, there's plenty of flexibility.The character continues with solid oak doors throughout, made from local trees. This is surely the most perfect of country homes.

We've lived here for over 30 years and it really has been a perfect family home. It was originally a small bungalow but has been extended a few times. There's plenty of living space and one side of the house would be ideal as an annex. We added an extension to one of the downstairs bedrooms which is currently a seating area but could be changed to an en-suite.We also added the en-suite to the master bedroom and had the Merbau Manila flooring laid in the hallway. It's one of the hardest wearing woods in the world so is perfect for a busy family. The time has come to downsize now and we know the next family will create as many great memories here as we have.
