LOCAL INFORMATION
Henley-On-Thames is a charming and famous riverside market town, within 10 miles of Reading, 35 miles of Central London, and 25 miles from Heathrow. Shopping includes Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tescos, Joules, Fat Face, Crew Clothing, Starbucks, Caf? Nero and Patisserie Valerie. Blanc, plus a wide variety of independent restaurants, cafes, hotels and pubs. As well as the world famous Royal Regatta in July, The Henley Festival, Rewind Festival and Literary Festival are a big draw for visitors. Henley has a lovely 3 screen cinema plus the Kenton Theatre. Local sporting amenities include 3 rowing clubs, 2 golf courses and 2 gyms.
