This Grade II period town house is within a 2 minute walk of the town centre and is in a pretty conservation area of the town. The house and the neighbouring properties are believed to have origins going as far back as the 18th century. Over the years the house has been extended and converted into what is now a truly lovely character home and is constructed of brick under a tiled roof with wooden gable ends. Internally the space is deceptively large with an open feel and a dining room that leads through to the elegant sitting room, kitchen/diner and conservatory which in turn leads onto a large walled, wellstocked south facing garden. The improvements include gas central heating (under floor in kitchen), rewiring throughout and new kitchen and bathrooms only 6 years ago.
The house has the potential, subject to planning permission, to convert into the loft space where there are existing windows. There is a small parking space outside the house and an owner has entitlement to register on a waiting list for parking (for a fee paid annually), opposite the market place by application to the Town Hall.

Henley on Thames sits on the Oxfordshire side of the river Thames some 36 miles west of central London. The town, famous for the annual regatta followed by the arts and music festival is a vibrant market town with small independent retailers as well as a Waitrose, Sainsburys and an out of town Tesco. The station provides a regular service to London Paddington, in under the hour and the M4, M 40 and M25 are all within easy driving distance. There are lovely walks across the Chiltern hills and the Thames tow paths and there is golf at Henley, Badgmore and nearby Huntercombe.
