" An exceptional detached family house with a beautifully landscaped garden occupying a very convenient location for the town at the end of a small no through road. The house was built about sixteen years ago and has been occupied by the same family since new. The combination of light and space is immediate with a galleried reception hall with an oak staircase, Amtico flooring and glazed doors to both the sitting and dining rooms. The generous twin aspect sitting room has a central Inglenook fireplace with a gas stove and French doors opening out to the garden. There is also a study with fitted furniture by Neville Johnson Ltd. The living accommodation is very well-appointed with plantation blinds to most rooms and complemented by a bespoke hand painted family kitchen/breakfast room fitted with a gas range, dishwasher, wine fridge, Wolf electric oven, granite work surfaces and under floor heating. There are five bedrooms (each with fitted wardrobes) set off a large landing including a principal bedroom with air conditioning and a wet room with underfloor heating. There is also a family bathroom. Of note, each of the bath/shower rooms are fitted with modern suites with the family bathroom also having a Jacuzzi bath.

Situation
The house forms part of a small no through close about a mile to the south of the centre of Basingstoke. The town has a thriving cosmopolitan centre and regular mainline railway service to London Waterloo (about 45 minutes). Importantly the town offers schooling for all age groups and the house is within a short distance of Queen Marys Further Education College and the adjoining playing fields. Basingstoke has an excellent range of leisure facilities including a sports centre, cinemas, theatre, range of restaurants and public houses as well as retail options including the Festival Place shopping mall, John Lewis at Home and Waitrose. The M3 motorway (J6 & 7) provide access to London, the south coast and beyond.

Outside
The garden is a very special feature of the house and has been especially landscaped to take full advantage of the setting. The garden is set around a level lawn with well-established borders and a variety of young and mature trees together with an ideally positioned Tiki hut, rockery and pond with a bridge to a garden seat. A paved terrace and BBQ area provide an ideal outside seating area and adjoin the kitchen, sitting and dining rooms. A private driveway provides ample parking and access to the double garage. A gate to the side provides access to a work shop/store and garden. "
