" Being offered for sale here is one of the larger detached houses located in Drayton's most popular of roads. The Welsh Estate was built in the 1930's and leads up onto the slopes of Portsdown Hill with its acres of open space and recreational use. Carmarthen Avenue is served by Court Lane Junior and Springfield Senior Schools.The property has retained many of the original features including the large bay windows, with well maintained casements, angular coving, walk-in larder cupboard, plate racks and a spectacular staircase.
