" Located in one of the Islands best kept villages, on the south coast, is this Island Stone semi-detached 17th century character cottage. Grade II listed and under a thatch roof this charming period home is positioned on the outskirts of the village and has the benefit of a large garden to the side and rear. Accessed through a five bar gate the outside area provides ample parking and turning area for multiple vehicles and a timber car port. The extensive gardens; front back and side, provide the cottage with a good feeling of space and they benefit from an open aspect to countryside in the distance. The cottage itself has all the charms of a period home from this era; quaint rooms, inglenook fireplace with log burner in the living room, thick stone walls and beams.
