" Standing in a secluded garden enveloped by mature hedges, this bright airy detached family house enjoys a mature non-estate location with views across to the South Downs from the first floor.

The property was originally built in the early 1960's and has subsequently been extended on the ground floor. The accommodation of 1,735 sq ft includes: entrance hall, cloakroom, triple aspect sitting room with a large semi-circular bay window and living flame coal-effect gas fire, dining room, study, kitchen and utility room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The property is quite centrally positioned within its plot with attractively landscaped gardens on four sides. A long drive to one side leads to a detached double garage at the rear where there is also hard standing proving additional parking.

The village of Chidham is steeped in history. The present flint and rubble church dates from the 13th century and the Manor House, from the 17th century.
